The Falmouth Academy Community Scholars Fund recognizes academically motivated students who desire to be part of a vibrant school community where each member is seen, respected, and empowered to contribute.
Scholarship Information
The selection committee seeks to award students from Cape Cod and the Islands, South Shore, and South Coast regions who have demonstrated strong academic past performance, good citizenship, and an interest in engaging in Falmouth Academy’s robust school community.
The Community Scholars Fund provides qualified students with awards that cover a portion of, and in some cases, the full cost of attendance, depending on demonstrated financial need (families will need to complete a Tuition Assistance Application). Qualifying funds also may include transportation, textbooks, and a laptop computer.

Qualifying funds also may include transportation, textbooks, and a laptop computer.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Reside in one of the following Massachusetts counties: Barnstable, Dukes, Nantucket, Plymouth, or Bristol.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance, involvement in extracurricular activities, and commitment to community service
- Apply and be accepted to Falmouth Academy as a new seventh, eighth, or ninth-grade student
- Show financial need by submitting a tuition assistance application through Clarity
- Complete both the Admission and Tuition Assistance Applications by February 1
To remain eligible, enrolled students must consistently:
- Demonstrate strong academic performance
- Maintain regular attendance
- Actively participate in Falmouth Academy extracurriculars and community service projects

Residence
Students must reside in Barnstable, Dukes, Plymouth, or Bristol County. -
Demonstrated Financial Need
Demonstrate financial need by applying for tuition assistance via Clarity. Families will need to complete a Tuition Assistance Application by the stated application deadlines.
*Funds are limited; preference will be given to highly qualified candidates with the highest demonstrated financial need. -
Falmouth Academy Admission
Applicants must be accepted to Falmouth Academy by completing the application checklist. -
Deadline is February 1
Complete the application and day visit by February 1.

Falmouth Academy is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is a member in good standing with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Falmouth Academy adheres to the NAIS Principles of Good Practice with regards to its admission and financial aid processes.
