Thursday, March 6, 8:15-9:00 Kitchenette
With the rise of online gambling, sports betting, and in-game purchases, access to gambling-like activities for teens has become more accessible than ever. Studies show that 60-80% of high school students have gambled for money at least once, and 10-15% may develop risky gambling behaviors (Mass Dept of Health).
Please join Dean of Students Mike Deasy and School Counselor Jen Chamberlain on Thursday, March 6 right after morning drop-off to discuss the reasons behind these behaviors, the potential consequences, and how to recognize warning signs.
