  • Annual Auction and Benefit

Every spring the Falmouth Academy Parents Association sponsors an auction designed to raise funds in support of the school and key projects or initiatives. Attended by more than 200 trustees, parents, grandparents, and friends of the school, the festive evening features an elegant catering menu and beer and wine bar, music, games, and silent and live auctions. The funds raised through this important event are key to the success of the annual Fund for Falmouth Academy.
  • Social Justice Conference

In the spring of 2022, Falmouth Academy Students for Social Justice invited regional educators and students in grades 7 through 12 to participate in important social and environmental conversations to shape our communities in the future. More than 140 students from 14 schools on the Cape, Martha's Vineyard, and the South Shore and Coast participated. They created a vibrant community-learning experience about social and environmental justice issues. The 2023 theme, Rights & Responsibilities, reflects a desire to bring school communities together to share, learn, and inspire one another about personal and collective rights and responsibilities. In addition to the inspiring keynote address by Judge Shannon Frison, Justice of the MA Superior Court, students will participate in a wide variety of engaging workshops on topics that include climate justice, healthcare access inequities, political activism, consumer responsibility, and many more.
  • Community Series

Falmouth Academy hosts a series of presentations and performances throughout the school year designed to appeal to friends of Falmouth Academy and the broader Upper Cape Cod community. These events are free of charge and feature a lively evening with thoughtful and talented artists, musicians, authors, scholars, journalists and others.
  • Science and Engineering Fair

Research is one of the cornerstones of a Falmouth Academy education, and scientific research in particular requires creativity, precision, skill, patience and organization. Our Science and Engineering Fair, held annually in February, showcases research projects from every student in grades 7-11. Many of our students are mentored by scientists from local research institutions and pursue specialized and original research for their projects. The Fair is the culminating event in our students’ extended inquiry. They present the results of their projects to multiple scientist judges, who question them about their methodology, results and conclusions. After the results are tabulated, an awards ceremony attended by more than 200 family members and friends recognizes prizewinners, many of whom advance to regional and state sciences fairs, and beyond.
  • Signature Summer Concert/Benefit

Since the opening of the Simon Center for the Arts in 2017, Falmouth Academy has hosted a sold-out, signature summer concert. We welcomed the renowned Harlem Quartet in 2017, the lively Canadian Brass in 2018, performer and former Berklee professor Livingston Taylor in 2019 and 2023, America's Got Talent finalists Sons of Serendip (with Hyannis Sound) in 2021, Grammy Winner Paul Winter in 2022 and renowned pianist Sara Daneshpour in 2023. The proceeds of these performances benefit our school and our community through the annual Fund for Falmouth Academy.
