Classroom Accommodations
An enrolled student’s unique needs and learning styles are attended to and valued.
Because of Falmouth Academy's small size and thoughtful pedagogy, many general learning accommodations are provided as a regular part of instruction and assessment.
Providing accommodations beyond those listed below will be discussed on a case-by-case basis during the admission process. The following is a list of the most commonly used accommodations at Falmouth Academy:
- Preferential seating
- Distraction-free environment for testing
- 50% extended time on in-class assessments
- Books-on-tape allowed
- Access to keyboard
- Instruction includes multi-sensory learning
